I sat down with Austin and Aaron in a Google Hangout to wrap a bow around what happened last weekend. Again, thank you for the amazing sixty-six donations that raised a staggering $1651.01 for Child’s Play Charity. We literally could not have done this without such an amazing community.
I also want to thank everybody involved in creating the marathon. The core components were handled by Austin, Aaron and myself, but a crazy amount of work was put in by everybody that helped us create the in-person portion of the event.
The first night of the event featured a popular DJ by the name of Tortango. He recorded his set at EventPort for all you clowns to listen to, which I’ve embedded below.
If you have any suggestions, or if you want help orchestrating your own Dota 2 Marathon, send email to email@example.com. We’re excited to continue to create and evolve Dota 2 Marathon. The more work we put into events like this, the more mass appeal we can achieve, which will help us raise serious dough for Child’s Play.
Now, I’ll dump a lot of photos taken by Alison Cruse
Until we stream again,
The marathon ended with $1,601.01 being raised for Child’s Play! We’ll have a more concise wrap-up show soon…
